Define atom

this is the smallest piece of matter that contains nucleus which has protons and neutrons and electrons on the electrons shells.

Define element

This is a group of atoms that share the SAME number of protons and cannot be split any further.

Compound

This is two or more elements that are chemically reacted together to form a new substance which has different chemical properties from the original elements used.

Define mixture

This is two or more substances that are combined without changing any chemical properties and form 2 or more substances at the end of the experiment and can be sepeted.
