Battle of Britain

Hitler planned to launch ‘operation sealion’ to conquer Great Britain. The battle was primarily fought in the air between the Germany and British Royal Air Force. The British were able to defeat the Germans by September and Hitler had to call off the invasion. Canada played a significant role in the battle
