What does network topology describe?
The physical or logical structure of the network in terms of nodes and links.
What is physical topology?
The placement of nodes and how they are connected by the transmission media.
What is logical topology?
Describes the flow of data through the network.
What is a point-to-point link?
A single link established between two nodes guaranteeing a level of bandwidth.
In a point-to-point network, how many nodes are connected to the network media?
Only two nodes are connected.
What happens in a half-duplex network?
A node cannot transmit and receive at the same time.
What happens in a full-duplex network?
Nodes can transmit and receive simultaneously.
What defines a point-to-point link?
The 1:1 relationship between two nodes.
