A Canadian missionary known for her work in China among the Lisu people in the Yunnan province. Her and her husband started the Rainy Season Bible School. Also, her work was done through the China Inland Mission.

Peter Cameron Scott 1867-1896
Scottish American who founded the Africa inland mission. He died of blackwater fever on the mission field, in fact, his entire team died and missionaries replaced them, carrying their supplies in coffins.

Evangelical theologian to helped found Fuller Theological Seminary, Evangelical theological seminary, and Christianity Today. “Gospel is only good news if it gets there in time”

Scottish olympian who went to serve as a missionary in China. He refused to race on a Sunday and had to change events. He died as a POW in a japanese concentration camp.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer 1906-1945
A german pastor and theologian who wrote on Christianity’s role in the secular world. He stood against Hitler and was killed for it on April 9th. His writings inspired many missionaries.
