Metaphor
A common figure of speech that makes comparison by directly relating one thing to another unrelated thing.
Ambiguity
An idea or situation that can be understood in more than one way. (little picture - in 2 lines, or less)
Irony
When 2 things that contradict each other. (sarcasm - verbal irony. Situational irony - Events do not match expectation)
Repetition
The repeating of words, phrase, or ideas
Stanza
Poem paragraphs. (How does organization match the ideas)
