Information, Data, and Evidence
Assessing the accuracy, fairness, and clarity of information, and seeking alternate sources.
Concepts and Ideas
Identifying the theories, axioms, and principles being relied upon.
Assumptions
Recognizing the beliefs and values that influence thinking.
Implications and Consequences
Evaluating the potential outcomes and their impact on various entities.
Inferences
Identifying unstated inferences and assessing their validity.
System 1 Thinking
Fast, instinctive, emotional, and unconscious thinking that utilizes pattern recognition.
System 2 Thinking
Slow, deliberate, logical, and conscious thinking that discerns new patterns.
Halo Effect
Interpreting a single trait or event to define an entire person or situation.
Belief Perseverance
The tendency for beliefs to shape interactions, reflecting individual biases.
Deflection
Steering a conversation away from its initial intent.
Establishing Expectations
The continuous process to identify objectives/goals, provide a roadmap, linkage to standards and unit mission.
