This person runs a studio camera during live and taped broadcasts. This person follows cues from the director, adjusting shots as necessary and moving cameras during a show. An important function is maintaining the cables and cords during a show. Sometimes also acts as Floor Manager.
Camera Operator
Responsible for airing all video in a broadcast. He or she makes sure that the video is loaded to the server and plays correctly and in the correct order.
In many television studios, this person rolls the video when called for by the director. Often the same as the audio person.
Playback Video manager
The chief of the news production crew. He or she makes assignments, works directly with the show producer, and in most TV stations is also the technical director for the broadcast. Many are also responsible for the overall graphic look of broadcasts. Call shots during the show, including communicating with the floor manager, audio and video and graphics during the broadcast.

Director
Operates video switcher. Follows the commands of the director and should know the show equally as well as the director.
Technical Director
Oversees the equipment during a production. This person may also be in charge of shading cameras to ensure they all have the same exposure and color temperature.
Engineer
Responsible for the content of the newscast, and may work on multiple shows per day. May also anchor and be in charge of creating graphics.
Producer
Blueprint for the show is also referred to as "copy." Contains what the anchor is to read and also information for production staff on graphics and video content.
Script
Makes sure the rundown and all scripts are loaded into the prompter. Operates the scripts forthe on-air talent to read.
Teleprompter Operator
In charge of the studio during a broadcast. This person executes the commands of the Director during the show. Is responsible for communicating cues to the on air talent and making the final sweep of the studio, ensuring all equipment including microphones, cables, cameras and headsets are returned to their resting/storage positions.
Floor Manager
Creates the over-the-shoulder graphics and monitor graphics for the newscast, customizing each to the story being read at the time.
Also responsible for full screen graphics and lower third CGs. In large shops, this is a separate position. In smaller TV stations, this role may be filled by the producer or the director or a person assigned by either.
