workers and machines worked in the same building here each worker was assigned and different task instead of making things by hand at home with all the steps. this system made productio much faster and efficient. it led to mass production and helped grow cities and jobs and overall help start the industrial rev.

it replaced hand work so it made the production have cotton much faster creating more money. it positively impacted the economy in the south greatly. it made cotton more profitable and it made more cotton. the more the popularity of cotton spreaded the more demand for slave labor.
