Liver
Produces bile which emulsifies fats, also it detoxifies and metabolizes the body.
Stomach
Holds food (like a tank), begins digestions by secreting the enzyme pepsin to break down proteins.
Pancreas
Produces important enzymes (like lipase) for digestion to be used in the duodenum. Also regulates B/G by the production of insulin glucagon.
Large Intestine
Absorbs water/left over nutrients. Fecal matter is formed here.
Small Intestine
Chemical digestion occurs here as well as most of the absorption of nutrients.
Gall bladder
Stores bile produced by the liver.
Spleen
Filters red blood cells.
