Primary Prevention
A public health strategy that applies universally to the entire population to prevent a few from becoming involved in crime or mental health issues.
Secondary Prevention
Targets indicated or selected groups showing early signs of mental health problems or those engaged in anti-social behavior.
Tertiary Prevention
Targets individuals who have already committed offenses or exhibited mental health issues, aiming to reduce reoffending or restore mental health.
Mental Health
Typically conceptualized as the absence of mental health problems, but also includes psychological well-being and the ability to contribute to community.
Resilience-Building Model
