Prescription Medicines
Medicines that require a written approval from a licensed healthcare provider to be dispensed.
Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medicines
Medicines that can be purchased without a doctor's prescription.
Active Ingredient
The component in a medicine that treats the condition it is designed for.
Inactive Ingredient
Substances in a medicine that do not aid in treating the condition but serve other purposes, like flavor or color.
Expiration Date
The date after which a medicine should not be used.
