Succoth
Booth/Shelter
They Sanctified their firstborn or humans and animals
Because God killed the firstborn of Egypt but preserved the firstborn of the Israelsites.
Etham
Fortress, Enduring, Strong
Etham speaks about strong faith towards the Lord that we need to cultivate after experiencing the joy of salvation.
God guided the Israelites through their journey with a cloud and a fire, and he guides us in our Christian Journey, too.
The end goal of our Christian Journey is to gain Jesus as our inheritance, but we will not get it if we disbelieve and turn back.

Valley of Reeds
The Israelites could see the Red Sea from Pihahiroth and the Egyptian army behind them. Like reeds waving in the water, they began to waver in their faith.

Moral
