the belief that life is precious and sacred

Euthanasia

From 'eu' meaning good and 'thanos' meaning death. The act of killing or permitting the death of someone who is suffering from a serious illness.

Abortion

the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy

Afterlife

Life after death. The belief that existence continues after physical death. This may involve a physical afterlife, or a spiritual one.

Soul

the spiritual aspect of a being; that which connects someone to God. It is regarded as non-physical and lives on after physical death
