Why are the frogs dying in chapter 1?

Due to the fungus spreading due to human trade, escaped into environment, interferes with frogs physiology (electrolytes)

What interesting about chapter 1?

Amphibians are going extinct much more quickly than usual.

Eradication/ dying off of species (permanent)

It was a long struggle of getting people to agree.

A giant meteorite (1 million years ago)

Causes of Extinction - Human Related 

-Habitat Destruction/loss

-Introduced Species - (human are moving) 

-Pollution - (related to climate change) 

-Population Growth (human population)

-Overexploitation ( hunting, fishing too many, direct removal)
