Christianity - Reconciliation

‘All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation‘ II Corinthians 5:18-19

by believing in the person of Christ,  any person can be reconciled to God -> our separation from God caused by sin can be removed, once and for all -> Jesus dying on the cross bridged the gap between God and humankind

"For if, while we were still enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. Romans 5:10

Jesus enabled reconciliation, by reconciling we are closer to G-d

‘and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, putting an end to their hostility’ Ephesians 2:16

Reconciliation heals hostility, living the way G-d wants you to live

‘If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all injustice‘ 1 John 1:5-10, 2:1-2
