What does TRH do?
Stimulates TSH release → activates the thyroid. Easy way: 'Turns on thyroid.'
What does CRH do?
Stimulates ACTH release → triggers cortisol from adrenal cortex. Easy way: 'Causes stress response.'
What does GnRH do?
Stimulates FSH & LH → sex hormone production. Easy way: 'Gets your gonads going.'
What does GHRH do?
Stimulates Growth Hormone release. Easy way: 'Grow hormone go!'
What does GHIH (Somatostatin) do?
Inhibits Growth Hormone release. Easy way: 'Growth Halt Hormone.'
What does PIH (Dopamine) do?
Inhibits Prolactin release. Easy way: 'Prevents milk till needed.'
What does ADH (Vasopressin) do?
Increases kidney water reabsorption and raises blood pressure. Easy way: 'Anti-Drip Hormone.'
What does Oxytocin do?
Causes uterine contractions and milk ejection; bonding hormone. Easy way: 'Orgasm, labour, love.'
What does FSH do?
Stimulates egg & sperm development. Easy way: 'F = Follicles & Fertility.'

Triggers ovulation & testosterone production. Easy way: 'L = Love & Lust.'
