Simple Sentence
A sentence with one independent clause.
Compound Sentence
A sentence with two or more independent clauses joined by a coordinating conjunction.
Complex Sentence
A sentence with one independent clause and one or more dependent clauses.
Compound-Complex Sentence
A sentence with two or more independent clauses and one or more dependent clauses.
Dangling Modifier
A word or phrase that modifies a word it should not modify, often leading to confusion.
Misplaced Modifier
A modifier placed too far from the word it modifies, causing the sentence to be unclear.
Coordinate Adjectives
Adjectives that independently modify the same noun and can be separated by a comma or 'and'.
Credible Source
Up to date, relevant, official authority, accurate and unbiased.
Not Credible Source
Out of date, irrelevant, unofficial authority, inaccurate and biased.

Using specific keywords and synonyms.

Sound reasoning, clear claim, relevant evidence, sufficient evidence, counterclaim included, and up-to-date sources.
