Vital Sign
A measurable physiological parameter that indicates the state of a patient's essential body functions, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiratory rate.
Heart Rate
The number of heartbeats per minute, influenced by factors such as anxiety, exercise, sleep, medications, and genetics.
Orthostatic Hypotension
A condition characterized by a drop in blood pressure when a person transitions from lying down to standing up, often resulting from gravity's effect.
Blood Pressure
The force exerted by circulating blood on the walls of blood vessels, influenced by factors like stress, weight, medications, and hydration levels.
Temperature
A measure of body heat, which can increase due to infection, exercise, environmental conditions, and certain medications.
Respiratory Rate
