When someone gets HIV, they develop flu like symptoms (fever, tiredness) but then they will start to feel better but the virus will still be damaging immune system so may start to catch unusual infections or develop cancers at this point. Someone is said to develop AIDS (a disease- immune system can’t cope)

What happens if immune system is badly damaged
HIV can be controlled with Antiretroviral drugs. These stop the viruses replicating in the body. The virus attack attacks their immune system.
If you put the bodies immune system is badly damaged it can’t cope with other infections or cancers at this stage. The virus is known as AIDS
What does tobacco mosaic virus affect and what are symptoms and what problem does it cause for plants
Tobacco mosaic viruses affect plants: tomatoes, tobacco. It this colours patches on leaves causing a mosaic pattern to form.
The problem it causes for plants is that photosynthesis can’t occur in discoloured patches so not enough sugars for growth (are produced )
