Pre flight safety check

• When?

»»» condition of equipment ( the equipment should be in a good condition)

Cabin security check

• when?

  ^ non EU FLIGHT ( european unions)

  ^ non SRA (SECURITY RESTRICTED AREA)

  ^ after cleaning , before pax boarding

• Where to check

  ^ luggage bins

  ^ galley : unsealed containers and trolleys

  ^ under seats and seat pockets

  ^ 5% random check of jacket holders

  ^ coats room and crew rest area if any

  ^ lavatories

Boarding procedures

What ?

• Check boarding pass

• Occupy door

• Cockpit door preferably closed

• Observe pax

• Observe pax luggage

• Ground staff ID check ( photo +validity period )

Pax with seat restrictions

• Infant on lap (0-2) NOT on exit row

• Infants in seat (0-2) NOT in exit row and aisle seat

• Children (3-12) NOT on exit row

• Pregnant women (>28 weeks) NOT on exit row

• PRM ( PAX REDUCED MOBILITY) NOT on exit row

• PETC ( PET CABIN ) NOT on exit or first row

• INAD usually no seat restriction

• DEPU/DEPAs usually sit at the back

• UM no seat restriction unless <12

• Lavatories every 60 mn (check the wastebins and smoke detector)

• Observe pax

• Galley safety (. Proper use of ovens .lock . Circuit breaker .Floor is dry )

• Pilot meals
