What is simple dominance?
A pattern of inheritance where one allele (the dominant one) completely masks the effect of the other allele (the recessive one).
What is an incomplete dominance?
A genetic pattern where neither of the alleles completely dominates over the other allele. It results in a blended phenotype or a mix of traits linked with that allele.
What is a co-dominance?
A pattern of inheritance where two alleles are expressed equally, and neither alleles are dominant or recessive.
What are sex-linked traits?
Characteristics determined by the genes located on the sex chromosomes, specifically the X chromosomes.
What are dihybrid crosses?
A cross between 2 true-breeding parents that possess 2 different forms of genes.
