henry’s divorces

divorced catherine claiming their marriage was never legitimate as she had previously been married to his brother
pope refused to allow the divorce/annulment
leads to henry pulling the entire kingdom out of the church
created Anglican Church which was very similar to Catholicism

was originally married to Henry’s brother richard but following his death marries henry
married to henry for 23 years but never gave him a son

gave birth to a daughter
continued to try but suffered many miscarriages
henry executed her to get out of the marriage
