• Meaning the heart recieves less oxygen and glucose

• Therefore less respiration and energy released

How CHD can occur

Smoking - leads to high blood pressure , making the heart beat faster and raising the blood pressure. Also damages the artery walls damaging the lining of blood vessels

Lack of excersise/bad diet- Leads to obesity which raises cholesterol levels that cause fatty deposits which block the artery
