it tests to see if means differ between groups

alternate → atleast 2 means differ

normal distribution
population variance for each sample is about the same
groups and the observations in the groups are independent
what is the Kruskal Wallis test
the non parametric version of ANOVA
uses medians instead of means
what are the Kruskal Wallis assumptions
only assumption is that groups are independent and observations within groups are also independent
