Nations

The nation is the basis of a society or community and are formed by common aspects that bring people together

Self determination

The ability to make your own decisions and be free from external control

Nation state

Nation state is a nation that rules itself and has its own territory - combines a state (geographical area that has its own government) and nation ( a community being held together by common factors)

Culturalism

Considers that culture brings people together and connects them to their nation - aspects like art, music, language, religion etc..

Racialism

The notion that race is the best method of categorising humanity because it is the physical attributes and perhaps associated qualities that define different groups

Internationalism

Uniting beyond national differences and working together for the common good
