delusion
the essence of delusion being bizarreness and falsity, I think it's that the belief is based on too little evidence and it's too resistant to counter evidence
Two factory model of delusions
based on the idea that we can understad what has caused any delusion we discover
wha suggested the idea of the belief (cognitive impairment)
what prevented the proper evaluation of this idea (belief evaluation and maintenances)
Types of delusion: Mirroed-self misidentification
the belief that when you look into a mirror, the person you see there is not you, but some stranger who looks like you
Types of delusion: Capgras delusion
the belief that someones emotionally close to you (typically a family member) has been replaces by an imposter
Types of delusion: cotard delusion
the belief that you are dead
Types of delusion: fregoli delusion
the belief that you are constantly being followed by people whom you known but cannot recognise (because they are always in disguise) — the mistaken belief that some person currently present in the deluded person's environment (typically a stranger) is a familiar person in disguise.

the belief that some part of your body belongs to someone else

the belief that other people can control the movements of parts of your body
