93. What is a space cushion?
It is the space between you and the vehicle ahead, behind, and to either side. It allows you to stop safely or steer around a possible hazard.
Hazards can be:
Fixed - those that do not change (e.g., hills, curves, intersections, or merging roadways).
Variable - those that do change (e.g., children, icy roads, left-turning vehicles, or emergency vehicles).
94. What is the "two-second" rule and how is it calculated?
It is used to make sure that you are not following too closely behind a vehicle.
It is calculated by:
Watching when the back of the vehicle ahead of you passes a fixed object.
Count one-thousand-and-one, one-thousand-and-two.
If you pass the same object before you are finished count-ing, you are following too closely.

95. Is it legal to use a cell phone while driving?
No! You cannot use any electronic device while driving.
