What is global culture?
The way in which nations are becoming more homogeneous, sharing increasingly similar consumer products and ways of life
What is globalization?
The process by which the world is becoming increasingly interconnected as individual cultures interact with eachother more frequently and become highly connected
What has the process of globalisation done to local and folk culture?
It has undermined them.
How does the idea of mclocalisation evaluate the idea of globalisation?
McDonald's has adapted it's menu to appeal to a variety of cultures (e.g. the aloo tikki burger sold at McDonald's in India), showing that culture hasn't fully homogenised.
