Many more American troops arrived and Germany soon became overwelled. In result Germany began to collapse and soon surrendered on Nov. 11. 1918.

Germany was stripped of territory and had to pay huge amounts of damages. They “war guilt” blamed them for the war.

The New World Order and America’s Place In It

The US came out on top because even though Britain and France won the war. They were very weaken. This meant that US led the world in industrial output. NYC became the cultural center of the globe.
