Irbesartan MOA
selective, reversible, competitive antagonist of angiotensin II receptor (AT1), which is responsible for the physiologic effects of angiotensin II including vasoconstriction, aldosterone secretion, sympathetic outflow, and stimulation of renal sodium reabsorption
Irbesartan box warning
pregnancy
Irbesartan contraindication
Hypersensitivity or pregnancy, concomitant use with aliskiren in diabetics

Human data suggest risk in 2nd and 3rd trimesters/probably compatible
