Linear Model of Communication and Transactional Model of commiunication
The two different types of communcation
Linear Model of Communication
Assumes a one-sided conversation with very limited interaction
Asynchronous Communications
The communications are not happening at the same time.
Synchronous Communications
The communications are happening at the same time
Sender (source) (Linear)

requires the sender to create, organize, and produce a message that is easily understood by the receiver/audience.

Physiological Interference
(of the Body) could be hearing issues, speaking issues, or a physical ailment such as a cold or the flu blocking the message.
Psychological Interference
(of the mind) could be a lack of inherent understanding and being unable to encode or decode the message.
Psychological Interference
An internal distraction or problem experienced by either the sender or receiver, such as worrying about bills or depression.
Transactional Model of communication
Similar to linear but takes the environment, situation, and exchange of feedback into account.
