Kantian Ethics
An ethical theory that focuses on the intentions behind actions rather than the consequences.
Good Will
Kant's concept of the will that acts solely out of duty; it is inherently good.
Categorical Imperative
Kant's foundational principle stating that one should act only according to maxims that could be willed as universal laws.
Deontology
A moral philosophy centered around duty and rules rather than the consequences of actions.
Consequentialism

Utilitarianism
