A squatter settlement is an informal settlement from RAPID influx of migrants into cities, who reside where they can find space (Outside of cities limit). A cause would be that there are homeless and poor people looking for a better place to live where they can maximize profit and lifestyle (A lot of people, very crowded). Effects of a Squatter settlement would be common diseases and sicknesses being spread around due to pollution, bacteria, and a lack of sanitation. Another effect would be being more vulnerable to natural disasters and destruction due to the poor infrastructure and environment, because the government does not own/reinforce these buildings.
