  • Declining voter turnout since the mid 1900’s, voter dealignment, voter apathy and voter fatigue; voters are less likely to vote with their classic, class alignment, the majority of A1 voters, Young voter had a turnout of 18-24 was 37%

  • FPTP means unfair results; Labour recieved 33% of the vote share but 63% of the seat share showing that democracy is in crisis because the will f the majoirty of people is not represented

  • FPTP has meant extremeist parties that could be percieved as dangerous to democracy, reform got 14% of the vote share but less than 1% of the voter share
