Cultural relativism ch 1

Understanding every element of culture within the broader whole of that culture. Cultural relativism highlight how each belief or practice is related to all other beliefs and practices in a culture.

Enculturation ch1

Process of learning and acquiring a particular culture, often intensified in childhood

notion that ones own culture is superior that no other culture i worth consideration. Ethnocentric people often image that the world would be a Mitch better place if the beliefs, values and practices of their own clue were spreads to or imposed on everyone else in the world.
