Ecological succession

is the steady, gradual or a series of changes in a species of a

given area that makes up the community with respect to the

changing environment

Climax community

- a state of equilibrium attained by the community of organism

climatic factors

- can destroy the populations of an area

like wind, fire, soil erosion and natural disasters

Primary succession

is the

process in which life will be

created in a place that was

previously unable to sustain

or support life.

Secondary Succession

- an area that was previously

occupied by living things is

disturbed, then re-colonized

after the destruction.
