GH Distractions
for initial treatment, pain control, general mobility

GH Caudal Glide in Resting Position
to increase ABDUCTION (sustained grade III); to reposition humeral head if superiorly positioned

GH Caudal Glide (Long Axis Traction)
supine, arm in resting position

GH Caudal Glide Progression
to increase ABDUCTION

GH Elevation Progression
to increase ABDUCTION beyond 90;
arm abducted and ER to end of available range

GH Posterior Glide, Resting Position
to increase FLEXION and IR

GH Posterior Glide Progression
to increase posterior gliding when FLEXION approaches 90

GH Anterior Glide, Resting Position
to increase EXTENSION and ER

GH ER Progressions
because of the danger of subluxation when applying an anterior glide w/ the humerus ER'd, use a distraction progression or elevation progression to gain range

AC Joint: Anterior Glide of Clavicle on Acromion

SC Joint: Posterior Glide of clavicle
to increase RETRACTION

SC Joint: Superior glide of clavicle
to increase DEPRESSION of the clavicle

SC Joint: Anterior Glide
increase PROTRACTION

SC Joint Caudal/Inferior Glide
to increase ELEVATION of the clavicle

Scapulothoracic Soft Tissue Mobilization
increase scapular rhythm
