Application software

Digital data
Data represented in binary format (1s and 0s), created from digital devices.
Artificial intelligence

Extended reality
Combines real and virtual worlds to provide an immersive experience.
Augmented reality
Combines both the real and virtual world by creating a new layer on top of the existing world, accessible via smartphones.

A computer generated world that enhances a fictional reality, requiring VR headsets and other accessories.

A method of accessing or linking other web pages from the current webpage by clicking on a word/phrase/image/area.

A saved shortcut for easy retrieval of a web page by storing a link.
Anchor
Specific location within a webpage that allows quick navigation to a certain part.

Application software used to organize, analyze, and store data in tabular form.
Database
A structured collection of data that can be easily accessed, managed, and updated.
Applet
A small application designed to perform a specific task within a larger program or webpage.
