Latent Learning

form of learning that is not apparent from behavior when it first occurs.

Insight Learning

a type of learning  that happens all-of-a-sudden through understanding the relationships of various parts of a problem rather than through trial and error.

Social Learning Theory

People learn behaviors through observational learning (watching and mimicking others - “monkey see-monkey do”)

Vicarious Learning

is learning that is derived from indirect sources such as hearing or observation, rather than direct, hands-on, instruction

Mirror Neurons

Frontal lobe neurons that fire when performing certain actions or when observing another doing so; the brain's mirroring of another;s action may enable imitation and empathy
