Electric Current
The flow of electric charge, typically measured in Amperes (A), which moves through electrical components.
Closed Circuit
A complete electrical circuit through which electricity can flow without interruption.
Open Circuit
An incomplete electrical circuit that prevents the flow of electricity.
Ammeter
An instrument used to measure the intensity of electric current in a circuit.
Resistor
A component that resists the flow of electric current, creating a voltage drop.
Battery
A device consisting of one or more electrochemical cells that convert stored chemical energy into electrical energy.
Electrical Switch
A device for opening or closing an electrical circuit.
Electrical Connection
The means by which two or more electric circuits are connected to allow current to flow.
Parallel Circuit
A type of electrical circuit where the components are connected across common points or junctions, allowing multiple paths for the current.
Series Circuit
A type of electrical circuit where components are connected in a linear sequence, so the same current flows through all components.
