Rob has depression, is possibly gay and feels disconnected from himself and others (expressed through 2nd person narration)
He knows Sasha’s secrets, and after revealing them to Drew in hopes he might hate her, he drowns in the East River (he does so by following Drew: the friend who decided to swim after he heard Sasha’s secrets, storming off, furious with Rob)

Rolph has a weird relationship with Joselyn (playmates)
Kills himself after being estranged from his father and everyone else he loves

Her fears become reality (with a woman named Kathy, one that Stephanie was always jealous of despite keeping her close as a fake friend) and they divorce
Ted
Sashas uncle. Ted is a frustrated art scholar who goes to Naples to try to locate Sasha (sasha’s father funds the trip) and spends time viewing art rather then looking for Sasha. He used to be the man Sasha resonated the most with in her family. The trip to Sasha was a chance to get away from his family (who he feels don’t understand him).
