Non-uniform motion
A type of motion where an object travels different distances in equal time intervals.
Uniform motion
A type of motion where an object travels the same distance in equal time intervals.
Acceleration
The rate of change of velocity of an object.
Deceleration
The reduction in speed or the negative acceleration of an object.
Trajectory
The path that a moving object follows through space as a function of time.
Graph of motion
A visual representation showing the relationship between the position of an object and time.
Distance
The total path traveled by an object in motion.
Velocity
The speed of an object in a given direction.
Acceleration due to gravity
The acceleration of an object due to the force of gravity, approximately 9.8 \, m/s^2 on Earth.
5 seconds intervals in motion
A method of measuring the distance traveled by an object at regular time intervals.
