Why do endospores exist the in the first place
Due to extreme conditions
Lysogenic cycle
a method of viral reproduction where a virus integrates its genetic material into the host cell's DNA, allowing the virus to replicate along with the host's DNA without immediately destroying the host cell
Lytic Cycle
a process of viral replication where a virus infects a host cell, replicates itself using the host's machinery, and then causes the cell to burst (lyse), releasing new viruses to infect other cells
Spreader Method
Organisms are mixed in a drop of nigrosin and spread over the slide with another slide.

A diffuse and irregular layer surrounding the bacteria
If the capsule or slime layer is made up of polysaccharides it is called
Glycocalyx
Mordant in gram staining
Gram’s Iodine
Primary Stain in gram staining
Crystal Violet
Differences in Cell wall structure between gram positive and negative cell.
