Muscular tube that carries foods and liquids from the mouth to the stomach

Heart Function

Pumps blood throughout the body to deliver oxygen and nutrients

Kidney Function

Filters blood to remove nitrogenous wastes and produce urine

Large Intestine Function

Absorbs water from indigestible food matter and eliminate waste

Diaphragm Function

Primary muscle for breathing; separate the thoracic and abdominal cavities

Larynx Function

Houses the vocal cords (voice box) and acts as a passage way for air

Liver Function

Produces bile for digestion, detoxifies chemicals and processes nutrients

Lungs Function

Site of gas exchange (oxygen and carbon dioxide) between air and blood
