is the code for a standard chair, which is the most basic, least adjustable wheelchair and meets the minimal standard for Medicare.

K0001

is an ultra lightweight wheelchair that is fully adjustable.

K0005

is a standard hemi (low seat) wheelchair for clients who require a lower seat height because of short stature or to enable the client to place the feet on the ground for self-propulsion.

K0002

is an extra-heavy-duty wheelchair for clients who weigh more than 300 pounds.

This describes kyphosis.
