Age 60-69 (2 pts), age > 70 (3 pts), sx presesent > 6 months (1 pt), sx improve w/bending forward (2 pts), sx improve w/bending backwars (-2pts), sx exacerbated when standing up (2 pts), sx w/walking & improve w/sitting (1 pt), urinary incontinence (1 pt)
Laslett Provocation Test Cluster (SIJ)
Thigh thrust, distraction, compression, sacral thrust, Gaenslen’s (<3/5 = 92% rule out)
Manipulation
No sx distal to knee, recent onset of sx (<16 days), low FABQW score (<19), hypomobility at lumbar spine, hip IR ROM > 35 for at least 1 hip (3 or more = yes)
Core Stabilization
< 40 y/o, avg SLR >91, aberrant movement present, (+) prone instability test
Mechanical traction
Leg pain, S&S of nerve root compression, peripheralization w/extension, (+) crossed SLR
Nerve Mobilizations
LBP distal to buttocks, (+) slump test, pain > 3 months
Specific exercise
Centralization w/2+ movements, centralization w/one movement & peripheralization in opposite direction
