What happens as you go down group 7 and whu?
As you go down Group 7, reactivity decreases. This is because they will have more electrons further down the group, therefore they will have more shells. This means the furthest electron is further from the nucleus, so there is a weaker electrostatic force of attraction, so it is harder to gain electrons
How does the size of a potassium atom compare to the size of a sodium atom?
A potassium atom is larger as it has more electrons so it has more shells
What is boiling point?
The temperature where liquid changes to a gas
What is melting point?
The temperature where a solid turns into a liquid
What is an alloy?
A substance made by mixing 2 or more elements, where atleast one of them is a metal
