Shoulder - AP external rotation
1 inch below coracoid process
close to 2 inches below lateral aspect of clavicle
shoulder - AP internal rotation
1 inch below coracoid process
close to 2 inches below lateral aspect of clavicle
shoulder - posterior oblique, grashey
2 inches medial and inferior to the superolateral border of shoulder

top of cassette 1 inch above the top of the shoulder
CR enters 2-2.5 inches below top of shoulder
between medial border of scapula and spine
inferosuperior axial shoulder
direct CR 15-30 degrees medial toward body (more abduction requires greater angulation)
enters axilla
put marker above shoulder so you always know superior side of body
superoinferior axial shoulder
direct CR 5-15 degrees toward elbow joint (more angulation if patient cannot extend arm over IR very far)
enters axilla
scapula AP
top of cassette about 2 inches above top of shoulder
CR enters at level of axilla and about 2 inches medial to edge of body
