Leaves

Flower

The reproductive part of the plant that produces seeds.

Fruit

Protects the seeds and helps in seed dispersal.

Contain the embryo of a new plant and can grow into a new plant under the right conditions.

Xylem

Transports water and minerals from the roots to the rest of the plant.

Phloem

Transports food (sugars) from the leaves to other parts of the plant.

Chlorophyll

A green pigment in leaves that captures sunlight for photosynthesis.

Stomata

Tiny openings on leaves that allow gas exchange (carbon dioxide in, oxygen out).
