what is cervical ectropion?
columnar epithelium of endocervix extends out to ectocervix instead of squamous epthelium
what colour does the columar epithelium look compares to squamous?
more pink/red - transformation zone
why does columnar epithelium in the ectocervix become a problem?
more fragile and prone to trauma - more likely to bleed with sexual intercourse
